Yoga for People who Experience(d) Cancer
This is a gentle, mindful therapy-informed yoga class or workshop for people who have had or have cancer. No previous knowledge of yoga is required; the class is suitable for people who are still in treatment or those who are recovering from the side effects of treatment. Most movements will be done on the floor and are nourishing and energy conserving; promoting healing, acceptance and finding a new balance after the experience of cancer. The focus is on body and breath awareness and mindful relaxation as each class finishes with a Yoga Nidra.

Yoga for Women in Midlife - Workshop - Use two sessions for Self-Care!
Women in midlife often experience various changes in this period of their life, involving their bodies, careers, and family situations.
This 2-session workshop will introduce tools and practices from Yoga and Ayurveda to support middle-aged women in establishing more balance and relaxation in their lives. The sessions build on each other and will involve short educational talks, breathing techniques (pranayama), movement (asana), hand gestures (mudras), deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra), self-reflection and inner awareness (interoception).
Participants will be invited to explore their constitution and simple yet powerful self-care practices around lifestyle in a fun, non-judgmental way to find balance at a time of life transition. Each workshop is three hours long including two short breaks. The only requirement is an openness to explore and curiosity. We will be gathering in a circle!
