A mindful practice to gently build strength and stability, focusing on core muscle groups in coordination with the breath.
After arriving with a guided relaxation and breathing practices, you will first be warming up and hydrating all major joints and your spine. The strength building involves movements on the front and back of the body to work with the muscle groups that jointly build your core.
Standing poses teach stability as well as balance strengthen your bones. You have the option to use and resistance bands and small weights for some additional muscle strength building.
The class is accessible for beginners and any bodies able to move up and down from the floor. This is a mixed-level class with multiple variations and step-by-step options.
You will finish the class on the floor cooling down and releasing tension and relaxing muscles.
